MICROSOFT TEAMS MIGRATION

January 2019 - March 2019

Having understood the need to move work-related files and folders to the cloud, I galvanised the team to create a structure to the newly available Microsoft Teams in order to be fit for purpose for our ways of working. Through a series of workshops, I helped realise the issues with the current documenting system and addressed these with the migration to Microsoft Teams. Once the structure had been created, all files and folders were moved to the cloud onto Teams, freeing up approximately 2 TB of data on onsite servers. The move to Microsoft Teams has ensured that files are available on mobile phones so working on the move is much easier. With a successful Teams site set up, I have become the best practice spokesperson for migration to Teams across the City of London Corporation, encouraging and supporting various teams from several departments with setting up their own Teams sites.
